Similarities between Oden and Norland the Liar

Kozuki Oden  is Momonosuke's father who was executed by Orochi and also Kaido . well if you look at the storyline of       Kozuki Oden , there are some similarities between  Oden and Norland. Norland himself was a great legend who was considered a liar. And here are some similarities between Norland the liar and  Kozuki Oden . 

Writing Logbook

Kozuki Oden has a habit of writing his travel stories in a logbook and has also been shown the moment when  Kozuki Oden  wrote what he experienced in the logbook. 

While  Norland the liar  seems to also do the same thing to tell what he experienced during his journey. And he also wrote what he experienced in his Logbook.

Seeing Shandora's Bell

Kozuki Oden once found Shandora's bell above the sky island. And there,  Oden wrote something on one of the bells and had time to make Robin so surprised.    

As for Norland the liar, had indeed found this bell or rather it was shown by Calgara . Not only that, Shandora's bell is also a signal that Kalgara used to always look forward to Norland's return. 

Travel Around the World

Kozuki Oden is one of Roger 's pirates who traveled the world to reach Raftel Island, and Oden's role  really helped  Roger to reach the island.     

And  Norland the liar  can also be said to be a very good ship captain, he can even get to a new world and return to his homeland safely even though the new world is known as an ocean with extreme weather.

Accusations Against Them

Because of what  Oden did who danced naked in front of many Wanokuni residents ,  Oden was known as a stupid king, even though he did it to protect many residents from the hands of  Kaido  and  Orochi .   

Likewise with Norland, he was considered a big liar until there was a book that told Norland's lies, even though what he experienced and said was the truth.

Executed Though Not Guilty

Both were executed unfairly and wrongly. Norland the liar was  executed by beheading at the age of 39 by the king of his country, while  Oden was executed by boiling before being shot at age 39 by the shoguns  Orochi and  Kaido .  

Having a Traitor

In Norland's group, there are people who betray the truth about the golden city of Shandora, even though there are several members of the Norland group who say that he is not one of Norland's men.

Whereas  Kozuki Oden also had a traitor who leaked out all the information they had compiled. And that person is Kanjuro who turns out to be from the same Kurozumi clan as  Orochi,
