The Similarities Of Zoro And Rayleigh In The Storyline Of One Piece [One Piece]

Zoro  is one of the swordsmen in the  Straw Hat Pirates , and if you look at it in some ways,  Zoro has some similarities with  Rayleigh who is a member of the Roger pirates   and here are the similarities between  Zoro and  Rayleigh,

Wound

one thing Zoro and  Rayleigh have in common  are the wounds on their bodies. Zoro is known to have injuries to his eyes and chest. and Interestingly  Rayleigh is also known to have a wound on the same side.    

Vice captain

When it comes to the vice-captain, again there are similarities between  Zoro and  Rayleigh ,  Rayleigh himself is known to be the vice-captain of the Roger pirate group  , while  Zoro although not officially mentioned, his role is very suitable as a vice-captain with the firmness that  Zoro has.    

Obey

Zoro is known to be obedient when  Luffy  gives orders, even  Zoro was beaten by  Bellamy  in Mock Town without putting up a fight for following the orders  Luffy gave. And  Rayleigh several times obeyed Roger's orders  even though the buggy whined a little asking  Rayleigh to stop his captain's orders.      

Swordsman

Zoro is one of the swordsmen who want to become the world's greatest swordsman, because of this, there are similarities between  Zoro and  Rayleigh , because  Rayleigh is also a swordsman. Although  Rayleigh seems to only use one sword while Zoro uses  three.      

first crew

Zoro was the first crew recruited by  Luffy , pulling  Luffy was already interested in  Zo ro although it has never seen it. and  Rayleigh also became the first person recruited by  Roger to become his pirate crew and was even shown in a flashback.     

Drinker

The similarities between  Zoro and  Rayleigh on this one do not seem good to imitate, because both  Zoro and  Rayleigh are the same men who like to drink sake even among their respective pirate crews.    

In touch with darkness

As one of the former members of the pirate king,  Rayleigh is  very famous and even dubbed the king of darkness. While  Zoro also has a relationship with darkness with Zoro's moves  he uses or the sword he uses.  

Not a devil's fruit eater

Zoro and  Rayleigh’s further similarity  is that they are both equally not a user of  Devil’s Fruit . And in the fight, neither  Zoro nor  Rayleigh relied on their swordsmanship as well as their rightful ability.    

Haoshoku Haki

Zoro and  Rayleigh's last similarities  relate to Haoshoku Haki where this haki is the rarest type of haki that only a few people have,  Rayleigh is one of the users of Haoshoku Haki and even became the person who taught  Luffy . And the latest is known that  Zoro also has this type of haki.
